Having solar heating for your pool is an effective way to save money and the environment. VREC sells and installs Solar Heated Pool Systems.
System
A pump circulates the pool water through a collector, absorbing the heat from the sun and then re-entering the pool. A sensors determines whether there is heat to be gained in the collectors, if not it will bypass the solar loop.
The total area of the collectors is sized to represent half of your pool area. VREC will work with you to determine the ideal location of the panels to maximize the systems energy production. The panels used are unglazed (pictured above) and are ideal for seasonal systems. If you use your pool year round we will tailor the system for your use.
